DESIGN PROCESS


Business Objective:
What should it accomplish?
To develop an interactive experience showcasing the major technologies (AR/VR) of the metaverse guests can complete within 5 minutes.

Blue Sky/Concept:
What can/should it be?
An immersive experience where guests become metaverse creators in a quick, easy, and fun way. The experience is in storybook format showcasing the Past/Present/Future of the technologies and capabilities of the metaverse by answering questions like: 
  • What is the metaverse? What can it be?
  • What can our passion for learning and appreciation of art show us about the potential of the metaverse in our daily lives?
  • How can Creators create in AR or VR?

Feasibility/Design: 
What brings the Idea to life? 
Experience the story, and the potential, of the metaverse by immersing guests in:
  • The Past - a digital history of the visual communication technology that brought us what AR/VR is today, alongside historical works of art.
  • The Present - Guests create a world in Meta Quest 2 and how to leverage existing AR technology to learn more about and immerse yourself in the classic art displayed.
  • The Future - an unreleased (now known as Meta Quest Pro) headset with a curated Creator experience. Guests can connect and explore current AR creators in the AR gallery, alongside a Meta Spark experience where guests create their own AR effects.

Production:
What brings it all together?
  • Double-sided condensed experience to give guests a concise yet elaborate introduction to the technology and capabilities of AR and VR. 
  • Pre-launch experience with the Project Cambria (Meta Quest Pro) VR headset.
  • Easter eggs with nods to Meta’s values and brand history.
